The great majority of our joint operations have been with one of these allies:
The Jaffa: The best to have on your side if you're going into any kind of firefight; the Jaffa are the thoughest fighters I know. They're highly trained, disciplined and completely fearless. Just be careful not to insult a Jaffa warrior's honor, or you'll have worse than an enemy on your side.
The Russians: Can you say Cold War? Their government still hasn't quite gotten over it. They're experts at manipulating our values to their advantage. They want us to be open, to share information, new technology, access to the stargate, but when it comes to their own sharing and openness, forget it. Be sure that when you work with them, you make them give as much as they get.
The Tokra: Ine thing you can say about the Tok'ra, they're consistent. They'll consistently withhold any ans all information except what they want you to know. Still, their thousands of years of Goa'uld history is pretty useful, and there's no uestion that Tok'ra knowledge saved our butts when Selmak figured out how to use the Ancient weapon at Dakara.
The Asgard: I love those guys! Their technology kicks ass, and unlike some of our friends, they're willing to share it with us. Of course, we've also saved their little grey butts more than a few times. It's a good relationship.
The NID: More secretive than the Tok'ra, and that's saying a lot. NID operatives are just as likly to treat you as the enemy as they are to cooperate. And that whole Trust thing is a big black mark. Some are trustworthy, like Barrett; it's just hard to tell which ones.
Enemies: (Goa'uld, Replicators, Wraith, etc) Normally we cooperate with an enemy over my rotting corpse, but once in a while, we have no choice. So remember, any time you have to work interested in is gaining the advantage and knifing you in the back. Don't let them.
